Section 15 – Contracts

The Contracts section is where you can create the pre-information form and the distance sales contract according to your company.

15.1 – Company Information

Under this subsection, you need to enter the official details about your company.

• Company Name: The official name of your company (example: A Sound Fiction).
• Company Address: The full address of your company. This information will be included in the contract texts.
• Company Phone Number: The phone number where customers can reach you.
• Company Email: The email address to be used for official communication.
• Company Tax Office: The tax office your company is registered with.
• Company Tax Number: The official tax number of your company.

After updating any field, you must click the Save Changes button to save your information.

Important Note
Since the information entered here will be automatically added to contract texts, it is legally important to provide accurate and up-to-date details.

15.2 – Pre-Information Form

• The Pre-Information Form is a mandatory document to inform the consumer before placing an order.
• This document usually includes:
  • Characteristics of the products being sold,
  • Sales price, shipping, and additional fees,
  • Seller’s name, address, and contact information,
  • Information regarding the right of withdrawal and return.
• For this, the system uses shortcodes.
  • For example:
    • {{contract_date}} → Contract date
    • {{billing_full_name}} → Customer’s full name
    • {{billing_address}}, {{billing_city}}, {{billing_state}}, {{billing_postcode}} → Customer address details
    • {{purchased_products}} → Purchased products
    • {{payment_method}} → Payment method
• When editing through the system, make sure all legally required information is included.

Tip
Standard legal terms and conditions are pre-filled in the form. If required, you may add your company details and specific terms and conditions.

15.3 – Distance Sales Contract

• This contract ensures the legal binding between the seller and the buyer.
• The customer details and order dates are automatically included in the contract using shortcodes.
  • For example:
    • {{contract_date}} → Contract date
    • {{billing_full_name}} → Customer’s full name
    • {{billing_address}}, {{billing_city}}, {{billing_state}}, {{billing_postcode}} → Customer address details
• This way, the contract is automatically filled for each customer.
• On the editing screen, you can customize the texts or add additional clauses if needed.
